  1. I appreciate all the time I had an opportunity to visit or have Mr. Price visit the areas that I supervised. He always was a gentleman with great suggestions on how to improve our operation, never critical. I am sure he will be missed.

Mr. Price was a true gentleman and mentor. He treated everyone with dignity and respect, regardless of your position or title. He made everyone he worked with feel as if their contributions were of major importance to the success of the company. I never heard a negative word about him or FROM him. Bless you, Mr. Price.

  3. My husband Jack Sammis was disturbed at the news of Mr. Jim Price’s passing, when I told him of the TG&Y update today. He was a very important reason that Jack pushed forward in his retail career, first in sub-management, then into management, and eventually into a Supervisor role. Mr. Price felt that Jack would move on up into a V.P. capacity one day, but unfortunately, the company was sold and that opportunity lost. Thank you Jim Price for all your help and interest in Jack’s early career ! Y’all can someday catch up. Rest in Peace Sir. I, too, was employed by the company for almost 7 years. It was a great company to begin my retail career with as well !!
