Mr. Stewart died on July 30, 2013. Richard worked in the Edmond Oklahoma Warehouse after he was laid off in the late 80’s, he went to work for Hobby Lobby Warehouse in OKC retiring in 2005. Thanks to Mr. Tommy Mosher for providing the update.
We are so sad today to inform our members of the passing of Elmer Gales at age 83. Elmer was everybody’s friend at the TG&Y Headquarters office. He was Office Manager then Comptroller for many years until the closing of the office. His obituary can be viewed here: Elmer Gales Obituary

This post was submitted today by Buddy’s son Darrell Baker. Buddy Baker started in late 1953 at the warehouse on 36 and north Santa Fe and then in Edmond. He worked until McCrorys shut it down in 1988. The airport authority bought his house in 1995 that he had lived in since March of 1954….
